Nine Peaks
Build a cultivation sect powerful enough to train immortals.
You begin with 10 servants. Servants build buildings, work, eat, sleep, have children, grow old, and die. Some servants, based on their personal talent and the ambient qi, will spontaneously achieve the first level of Qi condensation and join the Outer Sect.
Outer Sect members cultivate their qi, using the amenities of your sect, until they reach the 9th level of foundation. Here Outer Sect members will bottleneck, and only the most worthy will break through to become Inner Sect members.
The Inner Sect also focus on cultivation, although they require more advanced amenities to continue along their path. The strongest Inner Sect members, who achieve a final breakthrough, become immortals. Creating an immortal is the ultimate goal of the game.
This is not a quick game; at times you will need to let your sect run and wait for a breakthrough. It takes effort to train your first cultivator, and even more to ascend one to the Inner Sect.
TIPS
Strategic placement of servants quarters and funnelling qi to them is the best way to encourage breakthroughs.
Industry creates turbid qi. Build servants quarters far from mines, artifact furnaces, etc.
Start with food, housing, and spirit stones before tackling cultivation. Get your sect self-sufficient as top priority,
Amenities, available bed space, and surplus food dictate how attractive your sect is to the surrounding villages, and how likely you are to attract new servants. If you have bed space but can’t attract new servants try building another granary.
Breakthrough tribulation damages nearby buildings.
Buildings have a monthly upkeep of 5% of the build cost.
Best played in landscape on full screen.
